Winter Stash
A squirrel, a great oak and a very long winter ahead. Shake the oak for acorns, hire a woodland crew to gather for you, and watch a lone tree become a forest. Your critters keep working while you're away, so there is always a hoard waiting when you come back.
How to play
- Tap the oak (or press Space) to shake loose acorns.
- Hire critters in the Shop. Each kind gathers acorns every second, and owning 10, 25, 50, 100 and more of a kind doubles its output each time.
- Upgrades appear as your crew grows. Each one doubles a critter's output or makes your taps stronger.
- Golden acorns sometimes appear over the oak. Catch one (tap it, or press G) for a windfall, a Harvest Moon or a Paw Frenzy.
- Seasons: the year runs from Spring to Winter as your hoard grows. In Winter you can bury the hoard: the year starts over, and saplings take root. Every sapling adds 5% to all acorn output for good, and saplings plant trees in the Grove with lasting perks.
- While you're away, critters keep gathering at 60% speed for up to 6 hours. The Grove can raise both.
- Keys: Space tap, G catch a golden acorn, S sound effects, M music, Esc menu.
Progress saves automatically. The menu can export a save code to carry your forest to another device.
