Pearl Pinball
A pinball machine at the bottom of the sea. The ball, flippers, bumpers and ramps run on a physics simulation built for this game, so every shot depends on your timing. Dive through seven ocean depths from the Coral Garden to the Hadal Trench, lock two balls in the sunken wreck to release the Kraken, and reach Leviathan's Lair.
How to play
- Launch: hold the plunger and let go. The lit pearl lane up top is the skill shot; the flipper buttons move it until your first playfield hit.
- Dives: shoot the grotto in the middle to start a dive, then finish its task before the timer runs out. Each dive goes deeper, and the seventh lights Leviathan's Lair.
- Kraken Multiball: drop all three clams to light the lock, then shoot the right ramp into the wreck. Two locked balls start multiball; the ramps score jackpots and the grotto the super jackpot.
- Treasure: light all three pearl lanes, or spin the spinner, then shoot the grotto for a surprise award.
- Pearl Reels: ramps, orbits, the grotto, the pearl lanes, the clams and the jellyfish light the letters of PEARL on the apron, and five letters spin the reels. Pairs and three of a kind score, and three starfish, fish or coral also light the kickback, a ball save or more bonus. Each win in a row raises the reel multiplier, up to ×5. Eight pearls, or three pearls on the line, win the Pearl Jackpot, which grows as you score and carries over to the next game.
- Kickback: hit both starfish to light it, and the left outlane sends the ball back into play.
- Catch the ball: hold a flipper up to trap the ball, then let it roll and flip again to aim. Hit two shots in a row quickly for a combo.
- Nudge the table to save a ball, but nudge too often and it tilts.
Keys: left flipper Z, Left Shift or Left arrow; right flipper Slash, Right Shift or Right arrow; plunger: hold Space, Enter or Down arrow; nudge X, Period or Up arrow; pause Esc; sound M. On a touch screen, touch the left or right half of the game for the flippers, with both thumbs at once if you like, and hold Launch to plunge in either orientation. A gamepad works too: the shoulder buttons, the triggers or left and right on the d-pad are the flippers, the bottom button is the plunger, the top button nudges and Start pauses.
