Hopwick

Hopwick is a tiny candle with a long way to go. Every sconce from the damp cellar to the top of the storm-beaten lighthouse has gone out, and only a small flame can light them again. Each room is one screen: reach the sconce, and if you get snuffed out you are back at the door in under half a second.

How to play

Stars

Every room has three stars: light the sconce, carry the room's ember to it, and finish under the par time. Stars add up across runs, so you can earn each one on a different try and still end up with three stars for a room. A faint ghost replays your best run, so you can race yourself. Fifteen worlds each add something new: melting wax and springs, the dash, drips and floating planks, clockwork blocks and cogs, wind, ice, conveyor belts, awnings and falling slate, mirrors, levers and gates, wish stars, moths, furnace grates and cracked brick, and sky lanterns.
