Deepvein

Your rusty mining rig sits on the edge of the richest seam on the planet. Drill down, fill the cargo bay with coal, copper, gold and gems, then fly back up before the fuel runs out. Sell the haul, upgrade the rig and go deeper. Somewhere 2.5 km below the surface lies the core of the world.

How to play

• Move with ← → or A D. Push into rock while on the ground to drill sideways.
• Drill down with ↓ or S. You cannot drill upward.
• Fly with ↑, W or Space. Brake before you land: hard landings damage the hull.
• Shops: park at a building and press E or Enter. Sell at the Assay Office, refuel at the Fuel Depot, upgrade at the Workshop.
• Items: 1 fuel can, 2 repair kit, 3 blast charge, 4 recall beacon.
• Watch out for gas pockets and magma. A better scanner reveals them. If fuel or hull runs out, a rescue team tows you up, but your cargo is lost.
